Ahhh…gelato…
Not to be confused with North American style ice cream, gelato is Italian ice cream made from milk and sugar, combined with other ingredients. What makes gelato so delicious is that it has a much lower content of butterfat (between 4% and 8%) and a much lower content of air (35% less air) resulting in an ice cream that is dense in its consistency and extremely flavourful.
Gelato requires a special display case that maintains a temperature between -16°C and -18°C (unlike North American style ice cream that requires a temperature of -25°C).

NEW Take your business to the next level in gelato with GELATOMIX! GELATOMIX was created to present your gelato in a more original and more unique manner, whether in a cone, or a cup or on a plate. The GELATOMIX module is 170 cm long and has a stainless steel top with a marble refrigerated worktop plate (100cm x 54cm) surrounded on four sides by a handy drip pan. The module comes complete with two cylindrical stainless steel containers heated in a water bath, ideal for warm toppings such as chocolate or other sauces. Up front is room for a number of tubs containing all sorts of decorations – from fruit to biscuits, from crunchy toppings to pieces of chocolate.
GELATOMIX can be integrated with the GELATOSHOW gelato case creating perfect continuity and form.
